Simply put, you can consider it as an annual salary statement. It records the total earnings and the amount of income tax and National Insurance paid by the employee from April 6 of one year to April 5 of the next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">Note that it does not include information about private pension contributions. If you want to keep records of private pension contributions, you should keep each payslip. Additionally, it is issued per employer and as of April 5.
