ECCTIS 除左可以將香港學歷對應英國同等學歷，佢仲有一個非常有用嘅服務 — Visas and Nationality Services，大家可以利用大學 degree 或以上嘅學歷豁免英國申請永居嘅英文試，又可以順手將香港獲取嘅大學學歷做埋認證。呢篇文章會同大家分享點樣透過申請該服務，同埋申請前有咩文件要預備。
Visas and Nationality Services 服務
呢個服務可以將申請者擁有嘅大學學士或以上嘅學歷，轄免左申請永久居留時要求大家考嘅英文試兼且同你個係香港獲取嘅大學或以上學歷做埋認證，一雞兩味，但留意一點，佢認證唔到公開試考試。
申請時所需文件
申請前，大家要準備以下文件嘅英文版 soft copy:
- 大學畢業證書
- Transcript
- Medium of Instruction Letter (一般都係用大學出嘅Testimonial)
Medium of Instruction Letter
其實 ECCTIS 個邊都係想要大學 official 話俾佢知，你讀既科係英文教，要證明呢點，就要大學方面出封 Medium of Instruction Letter，大家可以要求大學以 Testimonial 形式出信，只要大學肯寫 “English is the medium of instruction and assessment at the University” 呢句，咁就掂喇～

Remarks: 有網友報料，香港都會大學畢業生應該申請certification of award，而唔係testimonial，份form有一個選項 “學銜的教學語言 Medium of instruction of the award”，大家剔左呢格嘅話，份certification of award 就會包埋 medium of instruction。
根據塵氏嘅觀察，各大學基本上已經有一個standard format 點寫 Medium of Instruction，有網友表示能夠成功出到封令ECCTIS 信服嘅Medium of Instruction Letter 嘅大學有香港大學、香港理工大學、香港城市大學、香港科技大學、香港嶺南大學、香港樹仁大機及香港都會大學。
有網友表示香港中文大學、香港教育大學及香港浸會大學，大家可以直接放棄。
- 香港中文大學及香港教育大學只肯寫 mostly taught in English and/or Chinese，唔啱要求
- 香港浸會大學只肯寫 courses granted exemption，唔啱要求。
香港中文大學大學更新︰搵校務處嘅話，佢地都係只肯寫 mostly taught in English and/or Chinese。但有網友表示試過直接搵自己個 department 出 Medium of Instruction Letter，封信會比較符合要求，最後亦成功申請。另外，有網友亦表示，中大研究生 (master /PhD) 都可以成功申請到令 ECCTIS 信服嘅 MOI Letter
嶺南大學更新︰
– 有網友係2023年初申請，封 MOI Letter 寫 “In general, all courses of the University are taught in English (with the exception of course in Chinese , Translation and additional languages)”，當時呢位網友係成功申請到 Visas and Nationality Services。
– 係2023年6月，有網友表示ECCTIS 要求嶺南出多封信寫邊科唔係英文教 (年初個陣無呢個要求)。而係2023年9月頭，有另一位網友表示，ECCTIS 再無要求嶺南出多封信寫邊科唔係英文教( MOI Letter 內容一樣）。睇黎要唔要嶺南大學方面再出多一封信，都要睇 ECCTIS 處理申請個位 case worker 手鬆定手緊。
– 2024年3月，有網友表示嶺車有一份新版本 MOI，改咗啲 wordkings，新版本應該會 accepted by ECCTIS。
至於其他大學啱唔啱ECCTIS 要求，就要等大家報料喇。
申請費用
而家不再提供 paper certificate，只有e-certificate，不論係英國境內或境外申請都唔再收 VAT，申請 Visas and Nationality Services 嘅基本費用係£140 。
申請步驟
準備好所需文件後，大家就可以按照以下步驟申請
1)首先去以下 ECCTIS 網頁，揀返 Services for individuals開 account ：

2) 輸入個人基本資料
3) 去自己個 email box，activate 個 account
4) login account 之後，大家揀 Start your application
5) 去 Visa and Nationality service 個欄，撳 Continue to service selection
6) 根據自己嘅申請目的去揀 Option 1,2,3, 4, 5，如果用 Degree / Master / Phd 黎證明自己嘅英文程度，咁就揀 option 1就得
7) 再入返自己嘅國籍，佢係有 British National Overseas 俾大家揀
8) 之後再揀 Immigration Tier/Rotue，呢個好緊要，大家記得揀 Family (including Spouse),ILR and Citizenship，而唔係 Hong Kong British National (Overseas) visa。因為申請 BNO visa 係無對英文程度有任何要求，係申請 ILR 先有要求英文程度要達某一水平。之後撳 Letter of authorisation，輸入申請人嘅全名、證件號碼同簽名。
9) 再揀大家想幾時處理份認證文件， Standard 就唔使加錢，Total £140+20%VAT，48小時內就要£264+20%VAT，24小時內就加£314+20%VAT。揀好就 Add 相關服務。
10) 之後拉到最底撳 Next
11) 之後撳Add Qualification
12) 入返大家嘅學歷，再撳 Add
13) 係 My Qualification list ，check 下有無入錯野，無錯就撳 Next
14) 之後揀 Add Documents
15) Upload 返畢業證書 / Transcript / Medium of Instruction 係相對應嘅位置。而全部文件有英文嘅話，就可以係 Translation requested 撳 skip，原因寫 All submitted documents are in English 就得。Upload 完就撳 confirm
16) 當你見到 status 有個剔，咁就可以Next
17) 入返大家嘅聯絡電話同郵寄地址等資料，同埋Check 清楚自己個名同出世日期有無錯，再撳 Next
18) 揀以咩方式收個認證，再撳Next
19) 網上俾錢
20) 攪掂~ 等收認證
注意事項
如果大家嘅大學畢業證書係由英國大學所發出，咁大家就唔使申請 Visas and Nationality Services，可以直接用該學歷黎豁免英國申請永居嘅英文試。
總結

其實無咩所謂，你揀嘅國籍會出現係之後 ECCTIS 發出嘅 cert，大家有 BNO passport 可以揀 British National Overseas，有 HKSAR passport 可以揀 Hong Kong

你好。Ecctis 網頁 (https://www.ecctis.com/visasandnationality) 寫 Documents needed 的 transcripts 要求是 “Official Transcript(s) in their original language (we cannot accept student versions)”。是否不可以自己 upload 自己 scan 的 transcripts？是否要向大學申請另一份 “Official copy 的 transcripts” 經大學直接寄去 Ecctis 呢？？謝謝解答。

咁如果專業資格如GIA要唔要認證呢?
1) Visas and Nationality Services 方面，其實主要都睇大學封Medium of Instruction Letter點寫，因為就算上堂係全英文，但大學只肯寫 mostly taught in English and/or Chinese 嘅話，咁無論 degree 定 master 都唔 ok。相反，如果就算上堂係雙語教學，但大學係肯寫 English is the medium of instruction，咁就可以成功申請到 Visas and Nationality Services，只放 master degree 落個 application 就 ok。
2) The Statement of Comparability 方面，degree 同 master 都一齊填入去 application。
3) The Statement of Comparability 無限制 upload qualifications 嘅數量，但留意，唔係個個 qualification 都可以倣到認證，你有 GIA 嘅話，可以 upload 埋一試。
Hello,想分享下我申請 Visas and Nationality Services嘅經過，希望幫到大家。
上網見到有人分享大學MOI如果寫明有部份course用其他languages讀嘅話，ECCTIS未必會接受，所以我申請咗個ac，可以login係online問清楚staff再決定做唔做。而ECCTIS嘅職員就官腔地回覆我，話只接受degree係全部用英文讀嘅先可做認證。但上網爬文見到有人MOI Letter寫明有部份course用其他languages讀都成功獲批，但亦有人失敗，咁就諗住搏一搏。最終我係尋日成功認證到，而我嘅transcript係有列明我有讀中文，Chinese History，但ECCTIS都照批，我諗好睇審批嘅職員點處理。
我大概係申請後嘅4-5日左右，就見到status轉為”Yes we can do”，之後再等多一星期左右，就收到成功認證了!

用途上，paper 同 e-statement 都係一樣。但留意，e-statement 要係發出後三個月內 download，如果過左三個月，每次 download 都要額外再俾錢。

The main difference is as follows: Regarding the e-statement, you can download for up to 3 months from issue, as many times as you need. If you need to download a copy after 3 months from issue, you have to order a replacement through your account. The fee will be charged at the current cost again. If you download the PDF file within 3 months after issuing it, there is no main difference between the paper statement and the e-statement.

另外再有一個碩士學位，是香港與加拿大大學合辦的神學課程master of divinity ，也需要MOI?
其實 Visa and Nationality 會做兩樣野，分別係Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS) 同 English Language Proficiency Statement (ELPS)。如果個 degree 由指定英文為主要言語(English majority)嘅國家發出，咁就只需做 AQUALS (不需 MOI);唔係嘅話，咁Visa and Nationality 就會同時做AQUALS 同 ELPS (需要 MOI)。
加拿大係一個比較特別嘅國家，加拿大大學係UKVI 眼中唔係 English majority，所以ECCTIS 會同時做 AQUALS 同 ELPS，簡單啲講，即係加拿大大學係需要MOI。但特別嘅係，加拿大公民係申請英國永居時，係唔需要證明英文程度達 B1。詳情可參閱此官方文件 – page 19。所以，除非閣下係加拿大公民，唔係嘅話，閣下嘅多倫多大學degree係需要 MOI。
而香港與加拿大大學合辦嘅神學碩士學位，亦都係一樣，需要向辦學機構申請 MOI。

Hello，請問你係唔係英語系國家/地區嘅大學畢業，例如澳洲、美國、加拿大等，係嘅話，你只收到一張 statement 係啱，因為ECCTIS 只會發出Academic Qualification Level Statement (“AQLS”)，原因係Home Office 表明呢類國家畢業嘅大學生提供大學畢業證書同 AQLS 就可以證明英文程度 (https://www.gov.uk/english-language/degrees-in-english)。如果唔係英語系國家/乎區嘅大學畢業，例如香港，咁就要提供埋 English Language Proficiency Statement (“ELPS”)，所以 ECCTIS 同會發出 AQLS 同 ELPS (共兩張 statement)俾香港嘅大學畢業生。

請問The Statement of Comparability 同 Visas and Nationality Services 兩樣都唔需要申請嗎？
如果張證書同係英國讀該大學所發出嘅證書一樣(可以上 google 圖片search)，基本上你可以唁使申請。

CityU transcript has a hidden watermark “Copy”, do I have to use iphone to take photo instead of scanner?
I have both bachelor and master in CityU, but the Testimonial is only avaiable for bachelor or research degree, master does not have Testimonial, in that case should I just apply using the bachelor?
前人照用 scanned image，未聽過有問題。另外，master 嘅話，CityU 都有出 testimonial，你可以問返校務處點申請，又或是睇睇呢條 link 啱唔啱使- https://www.cityu.edu.hk/sgs/student/TPg/service/testimonial。

有前人係香港讀咗同英國大學合辦嘅 degree 課程，試過用張畢業證書申請 Visas and Nationality 及 The Statement of Comparability，但 ECCTIS 直接拒絕申請，因為張畢業證書已經係英國大學發出，ECCTIS 無野好認證。For your reference only，有人話到申請永居時，upload 埋大學轉名嘅資料，例如新聞報導/學校官網 statement，但暫時未見有實例，或者你可以 send email 問問 Home Office 英國大學轉咗名嘅話，到時申請永居可以點做。

1)可以申請 Visa and Nationality，由於你只讀咗兩年大學，所以 ECCTIS 應該會問你攞 asso 嘅 transcript 同 cert
2)申請 Visa and Nationality 要upload大學畢業證書、Transcript及 MOI letter，正如上面所講，你嘅情況應該會叫你 upload 埋asso 嘅 transcript 同 cert
3)呢張MOI 咁寫無問題，前人都係用呢張 MOI 成功申請。
Hello, 我係2016年HKU畢業的，我見AS Office個transcript可以用黎certify the medium of instruction at the
University. (Information on English as the medium of instruction is pre-printed under section F of “Guide to symbols used in transcripts” at the overleaf of the official transcript)。呢個情況係咪唔需要HKU出一封MOI Letter ?
唔可以直接用 transcript 證明教學語言，HKU 一定要另外出一封 MOI 證明。ECCTIS 官網有咁寫 : We cannot accept a reference to the language of instruction on your transcripts or final certificate. Source – Q7.

申請時，你可以揀要 e-cert，唔用 paper cert。如果你想要 paper cert，可以揀寄去英國，但會有 20% VAT。

如果封MOI 咁寫，就一定唔 ok 了。申請衰咗，有人試過叫 ECCTIS 轉做 The Statement of Comparability，做完之後嘅餘額就退返俾申請人。

Hello，如果有英國大學發出嘅畢業證書(你張大學畢業證書係由英國大學獨立發出，即係張證書基本上同英國本地生無分別，又無 show 城大個名)，而且個學位係 academic degree 而唔係 vocational degree (可以問返大學個學位係咩性質)，咁申請永居時直接 upload 畢業證書就得，唔使額外申請。
如果我人在英國，但我香港有地址，咁可唔可以填我香港地址，當喺香港申請呢?
